Mine were done in 5th gear which is the 1:1 gear on these cars unlike the older 6 speeds that 1:1 was 4th gear. Mike mentioned about contacting the 2 previous customers that were done in 4th about re-testing in the correct 5th gear.

You don't need an auxiliary bung and sensor to sample a/f on an 11+ Mustang, you can data log it. When sampling via an auxiliary bung/sensor, pre cat is most definitely preferred but it's not the end of the world if you sample from the cat or after. Whats most important is that you check your a/f sensor before every use and say no to tail pipe sniffers!

The difference between the two is minimal but try telling that to a dyno queen! I'm guessing the previous manual 5.0's were done in 4th but I cant remember and need to look at all 5.0 run files to figure out. We dyno a lot of cars and have had to dyno several in 5th gear, I tend to look up anything that isn't a mustang but was not aware that the new 6-speeds were 1:1 5th, good to know!

I'd love to strap my car on your dyno, see how it does. Although, if you figured out who I am (not difficult) you'd prob dyno me in second gear for shits and giggles lol.

hmm... but aren't you the one who runs all of the cars on the dyno? I wouldn't want to see you hurt yourself Mike. :D

If that stock 6spd manual 2012 is making 386 on your dyno, then wow, if I don't have a lemon, I should be well over 400 then, car has trapped high 116's.

Cool! lil different from my '08, I remember you welded a bung in that one when you did the 4.10's. Don't know why I wanted it cause it got replaced by an offroad H pipe shortly after! lol

This is a stupid question maybe but what do you do with an automatic car if youre aiming for 1:1 through the tranny?

These are awesome numbers I'm going to make a solid commitment to get my car on a dyno. Jon Lund has done some great numbers from what I've seen and I would like to be one of those cars.

Lund tuned my car, love it so far. Just need a small adjustment, but other than that its been great.

a little birdy told me, if you goto lethal performances website, you can still order the cammed tune.

    http://www.lethalperformance.com/201...n-lund-p-35350

I'd assume any shop that tunes through Lund still can to. Although he seems to be super busy. Been waiting like a week for him to verify if COT was turned off or not in my tune, lol. I guess thats what happens when youre the best.

Lund supposedly had a friend at Ford Racing, who asked him nicely to stop, since it was infringing on the BOSS Track Key profile.

Although according to Lund, he actually had access to the hex behind the SCT Data Layers, which is how he had gotten access to the feature/values vs. any other tuner out there.

So in short and less techy, he enabled the feature a different/innovative way that Ford did, but in the end got the same result.

Rumors are saying Ford is going to release a Track Key for the GT, although not sure how since the BOSS and GT use a different PCM. From my understanding the BOSS's PCM supports the dual performance modes where the GT does not. So should be interesting to see.
