Good seeing everyone last night. Hooked hard on my first launch and smoked the crap out of the stock clutch. Babied it and shifted gently the rest of the night. Managed an 11.8@118. Left before it was over, but I didn't want to push my luck. The interior still stinks of clutch death this morning!
Yes, stock clutch for the MT82 6spd.
Nitrous comes in as soon as I go WOT, so pretty much a few feet after launch. Dyno numbers on the shot were 586hp/609tq (150 shot), so I'm sure the torque was really helping with the launch if I didn't screw up. Although that pass was with a 125 shot.

13.1@110, 2.05 60'. Car doesn't ET very well at all. Just feels like the power goes away between shifts. Picked up 14mph the last 320'. The tune was done to save the clutch (boost is progressive through rev range), I think it is killing the ET. Didn't expect much from it, and I didn't get it either. Ran 13.3, 13.3, 13.2, 13.1. Hard to run with the stock exhaust too, have to basically stare at the tach the whole way down the track, can't hear the car at all, especially when running against a 13 second car with open headers.

I came from drag racing. Have run hundreds of passes in various cars, consistently ran 12.40s at 108 on the old 235/60r15 BFG DR in my old notchback. Car picked up 14 mph the last 320'. Is this normal? I was on Hoosier A6 autocross tires in a FWD car, what would you have run in it?
Hard to see (left lane),
2.05 60'
5.64 330'
8.53 1/8
85 mph
11.02 1000'
96.32 mph
13.10 1/4
110.16
If I had missed a gear or botched the launch I would be the first one to admit it. The car 60' the same on the A6s as it did on the factory Continentals. The boost drops off between full throttle shifts (I am assuming because of the tune, doesn't do it on the factory tune), affected the ET, as you should know considering what you are used to racing.

Damn I just watched the video good run left hard.
So my bottle was in the bracket wrong, and the pickup tube was feeding from the top, not the bottom.

Probably be out (weather permitting) to see Ed go 11's :D
My junk is done racing for the year :(
weather permitting I will have the cobra there. If they cancell and run sunday then I will be there sunday.
Car was boggin off the launch last time out. 2step is now bumped to 6000. Also I will be in the heavy car lanes. Figure less chance of a street tire car messin up the starting line before my run.
If ya see me stop and bullshit some.
