Startline is real nice today.

I had even more traction problems than usual today- couldn't hook out of the hole until my 4th pass, then blew the tires off a few feet out when the suspension unloaded too. argh

Got my best trap speed today, but couldn't hook at all for a good ET. Stuck in the 12.1s. :(

Very early on it was FAST even with the headwind. 1st round they ran 1/8 mile. Ended up 1/4 mile on after 1st round. Most cars needing a chute packed it up which I don't blame them. Dew point was high 20's by end with mostly sunny skies. Everyone who wanted got 7 runs.

That first pass I think would have been 11.99 -12.01 I cracked 90mph in the 1/8 with the headwind. Slowed up as sun came out but starting line was fastest I have seen. Worst sixty was a 1.58 and ran 1.55 back to back and 1.56 back to back. Started day with a 1.57. Managed a 12.09@111 (1.55 sixty) 7.65@89.91 1/8 on 2nd pass.

Was there also. And the starting line was sticky as hell. Ask me how i know cause my car broke right on it and i got to crawl under it to hook a tow chain.

Something you dont see every day though, cobra being pulled by a atv lol. Was nice meeting some people finally though, and got to take a few vids with ares camcorder.

My car spent all day in the broke lot, so if ya seen a red 2003 cobra sitting in the grass that jem woulda been mine lol. brought it up on the 2step to 6grand, quick slip, DEAD. car shut off. Found i blew a vaccumm line off the back of the blower, not such a big deal, easy fix. Well well.. where did all this oil come from though. As of right now it looks the snout seal on my kenne bell took a dump and is letting oil come out. Drove home without getting into boost and didnt lose a drop. Will **** with it this week some and see whats up

Sooooo ... close Ed, you are deffinately on the 60' program to get there. My first 11 second pass was 7.60 in the 1/8th and almost 91 mph (90.95) ... when I was running those 12.0X's trying to get there I was right at 90.50 ... Soo close, you'll get it ... may your DA be low and the wind on your back :D

Better option than when Greg broke his Black Cobra on the line and everyone put their hands all over it to push to off ... all over the hood, a-pillars, etc ... almost made me cry.

they were gonna attepmt that and i was like no no no no. Ill grab some people real fast, people that i actually trust. then the one guy was like just get the atv i was like thats cool to me just let me hook it up.

Broke or not I had a fun day so its cool. Gonna try and fix it and get it back out this year so we shall see.

On another note the few staff memebers i met today at prp was like none of the others i met. One guy after i broke come over and was like that sucks man, did you even get to make one pass. I was like sadly no. He was like come with me. Took me over to te both and got my money refunded.

Then later in the day i wanted a drink, went to carmins and they were closed. one worked was like here come in the back here and we can get ya a soda yet.

I aint one to nut hug prp, normally im right there saying what the **** with everyone else. But today they were on there game. track prep was INSANE. and the people where helpful.

I had a great day today at PRP! got my new personal best today (actually 3 of them). ended with a personal best of 11.2588 @ 122.78. got to talk to some cool people & had a lot of fun running with the slick cars. i had a couple guys tell me they couldn't believe i put up some of the times i ran without having a 2 step or anything like that. i was able to keep the car within a tenth all day. it suck i did tear something up in the 9 inch rear though, i'll tear it apart this week & see what happened & hopefully get it fixed so i can get back out in a week or two.

Late start with last few days rain but traction was great today. Managed to rip off a 1.54 leaving at 6200, also had a 1.55 leaving at 6400 Was going good then lost over a tenth and mph on top end. Think front brakes are hanging up bad. Could smell it back in pits and they squeel pretty good on way home.
