    Does it still have the stock convertor?
    If I was spraying and it was going this slow I would sell it. It has a 3200 stall in it and on my mickeys I can usually go low 1.7 all day but I had to make do with nittos so my 60's sucked. Should be trapping about 5mph higher so I think the trans slippage is killing my trap. Oh well time for a built trans and even bigger stall

    Don't know. I think he was bone stock. Seems like I said before, control arms and a panhard bar seem to cure wheel hop in these cars.

    When you get the tranny fixed, you will be in the 11's with no problem. Either way, I think that was a really good time.

    Yea I saw that too. He was in the left lane and wheel hopped horrible for the first 100ft.

    wow tonight my times sucked didnt seem like the radials helped, i think ill chalk it up to the heat, i ended up chasing down for both of my elimination rounds?? the first round i won cause the guy deep staged and red lighted, then the next one i didnt catch the guy so i let off thinking he was gonna break out...when in reality he had a .004 reaction and i had no chance of catching him...i really need to work on my reaction times i think i was a little gun shy from red lighting twice last week...

    I was definitely a slow day with how hot and humid it was. I was about 1.5 tenths slower. Sounds like your getting the hang of it pretty quick

    Finding traction yesterday was a challenge.

    Spent most my day trying to get car to hook. Left 1st pass at 6400 and instant spin 1.71 Then backed off 600rpm and got instant spin with a 1.74 Had to take 2lbs out of tires and soften right rear shock 1 turn and ended up going 1.62 next few passes. I was running a hair quicker than last week but I advanced cams 3 degrees.

    Couldn't find my spot on tree all day

    you were only 1.5 tenths slower i was off by 3 tenths!! is it any better when they do the test and tunes thursday nights as far as heat weather conditions?

    Generally speaking, your ETs at a test n tune will be quicker, because all the runs are coming after the hot part of the day, and it's getting cooler. However, in the summer, the cooling off can also raise the dewpoint and humidity. You just kinda watch the weather to see what they're calling for.

    The weather will have a greater effect on a 15 sec car compared to a 12, 11,10 sec car.... The faster the car the more or less HP it takes to effect the ET. For example, it might take you 10 rwhp to pick up a tenth in the 1/4 but it might take my car 20 rwhp to pick up the same ET. That theory works the same in a negative way.
