Ratt I attempts to make the Pinks field !

Had a real good time at teh Pinks All Out Race at Houston Raceway Park on the 17th. The event went fairly smoothly, and was all done by about 1015 that night.
Ratt I stretched the blower belt during the 1st burnout, and wound up running a sub-par 11.05, with about 17 psi boost max !! The driver continued the burnout too long and when the tires bit, it pulled the engine down quickly and likely damaged the belt... it jumped off just a tad before the finish line as the boost fell out and teh alt light came on. D'oh.
Anyway, on her 2nd qualifying pass, she threw down a perfect 10.000... if not for the poor 1st pass, I mighta got a chance to race teh auto cars with the ole 6 spd !! Oh, well, that is racing ! Here is a link to the 2nd pass vid, against a mean Lightning:

That truck is for real. Here it is later making a test n tune pass after all of the qualifying was done.

A little different perspective, because they did not allow any video from the ground around the track. The L vid was taken from inside one of those suites that belongs to people I know.

LOL ! You can see that I gave the L about .3 at the line, and didn't get around him until just past the 1/8th mile ! I knew it would roll, but wasn't sure just how well !
