Took my stock Z06 to PRP tonight

It has been ~3yrs since I last drag raced. I wanted to see what my newly acquired Z06 would do, even though I didn't have high hopes since I was running on the old goodyear F1 supercar tires that the car came with. After shaking the rust off on the 1st pass I managed 2 clean runs. All in all I'm happy with what the car ran considering it is 100% stock. It was also nice to see a bunch of familiar faces that I haven't seen in a while. My best pass tonight was a 12.3 at 115.3mph. Here's a video:

Troy- this car will have some sort of sticky tire on it once I decide what wheels are going it.

If it was black I was running against him on his 1st 10 second run. It was my first pass and I tagged the limiter in 2nd, missed 3rd, and then hit the limiter again in 3rd. He was happy as could be. The car RAN away from me, it was sick! It sounded like it had a cam, what else is done to it?

Yea it's black... cam, long tubes, intake, and tune. I've been busting his balls for a while now that if he wanted a 10 second slip I'd come drive it for him.

Yea the same day I broke my axle... Has a Wv plate that says C6 SUK or somethig lol

Nice job Paul! I didn't get the G8 to go as fast as I would like, but I'm planning a couple minor mods so I guess I at least got a good baseline. My best time of the night was 12.79 @ 110. I think it's got a couple more tenths in it as is. I ran 113 MPH on my last run where I shifted the auto manually, but I hit the limiter on the 1-2 shift cause it takes forever to shift. I was at least happy with my best 60' of the night of 1.86. Not too bad for a 4000 lb car on 255 hankooks, lol

Yes, that's typical....

Car was rated as 405hp from the factory - probably underrated... but its also a car that's just over 3000 lbs, so they run some damn good times, even in stock form
