Whats a good car video game?

Since I never seem to get my racing fix behind the wheel, I've resorted to playing video games! Whats a good realistic car game. Looking for something more street related with street cars and would love them to actually sound like real cars. I have acess to ps3, xbox 360, and wii. I bought midnight club la for ps3 and I love the customization of my car ability, but theres not to many cars, they dont sound like cars and the game is pretty hard/ slow. just picked up need for speed pro street yesterday. Like that they sound like real cars (although i only have acess to ricers now). Not real fond of the track type races, although I love the drag race feature. Went undefeated in my cobalt ss yo! Any suggestions?

I have a 360 and PS3 as well.

Forza 3, but you have to have a good 1080p HDTV to appreciate the detail and graphics. Forza 4 looks like its going to blow the doors off the barn.

Also, Gran Turismo 5. I haven't got it yet but everyone says its amazing.

I want to get a steering wheel, pedals and manual eventually. I used to have a set of steering wheels and pedals for PS1 but those are long gone.

Forza 3 is the best....forza 4 comin out in october is going to be insane lol.

IMO gran turismo 5 is over rated but still pretty good

That is a crazy chair. I would never like it. Never been in a car when you floor a car at 75 mph and pulls wheels and does endos everytime you hit the brake??
