Quad FS: 2006 Suzuki Z400 - Well modded; exc. shape

POSTING THIS FOR A FRIEND - CALL NUMBER IN AD TO SEE BIKE IN PERSON

2006 Suzuki LTZ-400 -- Great shape; Nicely modded, loads of power

Selling my Z400 - ready to ride. No issues, very well maintained, adult owned, nicely modded for power and trail riding, 5-speed w/ reverse, many new parts. Front tires are 90%, rear tires are 65%. Rear tires are 22" Kenda Klaws for the added ground clearance. Ridden but no cracked plastic. No disappointments! Bike requires 93 octane fuel due to cam and base gasket mods. See below full listing for more info. Just don't get to ride much anymore and have other projects that need money.

This ATV is basically the same bike as the KFX-400 and is one of the best trail sport bikes out there. They respond very well to after market modifications.

I have the clear title and the PA DCNR license plate which will be transferred with the bike to the new owner.

    Asking $3,500

    Call Josh 724-678-7544 (Eighty-four, PA)

    Brand New Parts:

    Rear axle bearings
    Front wheel bearings
    Swing arm linkage bearings
    Rear shock lower bearing
    Upper and lower A-arm bearings
    Chain roller

$200 worth of brand new parts not counting labor.

    Maintenance Report:

Newer rear sprocket and x-ring chain
    Oil changed this spring
Cam chain done when I did the cams also added DRZe valve springs
    Lower steering stem bushing replaced

    Mods:

Intake and exhaust Hotcams (new style)
FCR-39mm carb from '05 YFZ -- 165 MJ, 42 PJ, 50LJ, NCVQ needle on third clip
    Raptor 660 fuel petcock
    Full CT Racing exhaust (Sonic)
    CDI Dynatek FS Digital Ignition
    DRZe base gasket (higher compression)
DRZe flywheel (lighter for faster pickup)
EHS airbox filter lid (I get very little water in the air box even on wet days)
UNI air filter (modified air box and intake to fit 3x6" clamp on)
    13 / 40 Sprocket Gearing
Changed ACCT to MCCT (to increase life of cam chain)
Tag Fat Bars with ODI grips
    MSR Clutch lever
    Braided lower front brake lines
YFZ-450 dual piston front brake calipers
    Case saver
    Billet gas cap
    Billet shifter
    Eliminated reverse rev limiter
Eliminated parking brake and "blob" on the handle bars
    A-arm, and belly skid plates
    PRM swing arm skid plate
    PRM Six pack cooler rack
    PRM front bumper
Custom dual foot pegs (greatly increases comfort and stability when riding)

Extras: (We'll clean out whatever quad stuff I have)

Stock front and rear tires and rims
Tie rod ends (3 of 4 -- new)
    Extra air filter
    Clymer Maintenance manual
My folder containing all information on the bike with mods and maintenance info
    Stock flywheel
    Stock front calipers
    Stock CDI
Emergency parts for long trail rides (chain, shifter, rear brake pads, tie rod etc.)

I have reduced the price to compensate for the rear tires which have some plugs in them, and could be replaced in a year or so and for the lower front shock bushings which cost about $20 per side.

Well ridden and well taken care of. This quad has tons of power, way more than stock. With the fresh tune-up she's ready to go for years to come. I know I'm not going to get out what I have put in but don't come in trying to beat me up on price or I'll just have to start taking parts off. . . parts which will cost you more to replace later.
