    Did it really?

I was there from 9am to 7pm (10 hours) and had a great dry day.

Guess I pulled out just in time!

PS: Last night my wife showed me an article in her September issue of Pittsburgh Whirl Magazine on the Beaver Cruise. The article stated it's nationally recognized with 5000 cars and 40,000 people. Sounds about right. The well manicured Main Street with lots of great small businesses makes it even better. IMO, the Beaver Cruise is the Super Bowl of Car Cruises in our region.

I always look forward to this cruise, but hate when its over.

Where were you parked? I was there from 9am till 8pm in the GN, parked on the street in front of the park that is on the same side as the Court House.

We must have been close, because I was parked in the park next to the sidewalk...

If I had known, I would have looked at your GN closer, cause I really like them. Owned 3 Regal's in the past...

Your TR's look like they were very nice.

Thanks, I saw your car but did not look at it closely. The blue 84 T-Type was a stock daily driver with 77k miles and the gray 86 T-Type was a lightly modded weekend car with 43k miles. But the burnt orange one was originally an 82 NA 6cyl bench seat grandma car that was transformed into a one-of-a-kind custom to appear like a factory/stock G-Body Regal GS. The GS that GM never made.

84-87 clip and taillights, repainted original burnt orange color that was never offered in 84-87 body style, 87 dark burgundy wine bucket/console interior that was never offered with that burnt orange color, 72 Buick 350 4bbl, dual snorkel air cleaner, hotair airdam, turbo hood, customized Trans Am hood decals to reflect carbed 5.7, 88-92 GS emblems in all the normal places including the door panels, sport wheel, GN rims, customized GN center caps with tri-shield logo, and so on.

My idea came from the return of the 442 and MC SS on the G-Bodies. Since Buick went the turbo route with their G-Body and gave them new names, I always thought it would be cool to create a Buick G-Body GS Prototype the way GM would have done it. So I did it. It was an idea that I had festering for many years and was finally able to make it a reality when the right car came along.

1 of 1 and it was fun! :D Here are a few more photos...

Sorry I missed you on Saturday Brian. I walked past your car with my daughter - and she was hungry so we went to get lunch. Then Steve-O called and I had to meet him to sell him Steeler tickets. I walked around a while more and ran into a bunch of folks, and when I made another pass by your car, you were gone.

I loved the full-size Chevy wagon ( green ) with the 502, 5-speed, disc brakes, etc. That was one neat ride. I also liked the green Olds wagon with the plexi skylights - really clean car. Tons of cars down there - an amazing show as always. The weather really cooperated.

Your Regals were way cool. I think I would like the "GS" the most. You really got creative with that one - and almost nobody would know it wasn't "real".
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I was wondering if you made it cause I didn't see you all day. Lots going on and lots to see, it's easy to miss people. Next time I run int6o you will probably be at Moon. My high school buddies I was telling you about plan on attending and will be bringing their R-Codes. (they don't get out much LOL)
