Its an '04 with 70K on it. Yes, its a 6.0...I am also aware of the issues of the 6.0, thats why I got it. I had it for less than a week and put about 73.5 miles on it. Started running shitty. I thought to myself...This is great!! So off to the dealership it goes for what I was planning to do anyways. I didnt think it was going to be so soon but oh well. Long short story, the coolant (Number 1 issue) failed and plugged up the oil cooler. That in turn jammed up my EGR cooler which was getting deleted anyways. Then....yup, you guessed it....blown head gaskets!!!.

My buddy is the lead diesel tech at the dealership. He kept sending me pics of the truck. First was pulled in the shop. Then cab off..then engine tore down...then engine re-assembled. The dealership hooked me up pretty good with the repair. It was about an 8-10K repair. Cost me nothing. It now has a Liberator EGR delete and turbo back exhaust.
Sorry guys, the Ventshades came with it so I couldnt do an install vid...

Rob, it was a blessing in disguise actually. I wanted to do the stuff to it at a later date to make the engine bullet proof. But since it happened now, it was covered under warranty. Cant complain about that one bit.
Bob, you will love it. It was getting 18.5 MPG with the blown gaskets. I know it has to be at or near 20 MPG now and it pulls like a freight train!!!
