Ls9 600+hp > 500+hp gt500
Like Tom Petty sang it, you believe what you wanna believe. I bought the car I thought was overall cooler, it just happens to have a badass motor in it.
You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a car with a LS motor in it (Especially at 1st-Try!). The 03-04 Cobra motor still has a good bit of exclusivity.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
Seems like the 5.4 owns the record for the standing mile...

Some newer (past few years) "flex fuel" vehicles actually have octane sensors in the fuel tank. They report the change to the PCM and it loads different fueling/timing tables. I'd imagine this is what your truck has. I believe GM actually calls it a "flex fuel sensor".my truck has the LMG engine in it. 5.3L iron block, aluminum heads, flex-fuel. it's rated at 315hp with gasoline and 338hp with e85. the book says the engine "senses" that it has e85 in the tank and adjusts the tune accordingly. this sounds like hogwash to me. should I find some e85 and try it out? right now it shuts off at 97mph.
