Exclamation Importance of Seat Belts and Safety Devices

Here is a perfect example of how seat belts, airbags and vehicle design save lives. My Wife and Kids were in a horrific car accident last week and everyone involved is lucky to be alive. The crash made all the local news as the top story for a couple days in Pittsburgh.

    http://www.wtae.com/news/28468762/detail.html

THANKFULLY everyone is going to be all right. It was no fun getting that call at work 30 miles away and then arriving at the scene to see 7 people, 6 of which were my family, all getting loaded into 5 different life flight helicopters and flown to Pittsburgh hospitals.

Miraculously, all 4 kids walked away without even a cut! They all just have some bruises from the seat belts that held them in place after the vehicle flipped over. All 4 were released from Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh the following day. I truly believe that the over sized head rests saved my Son & Daughter's life by keeping the roof from collapsing any further.

My Wife came out of it the worst and is still in the hospital. She shattered 2 bones in her right leg and had to have rods surgically implanted that will be with her forever. She also fractured her right hip and dislocated her left knee. It will be 4 to 6 months before she is able to walk again, but at least she is still with us.

It’s a good thing I just bought my Wife the Mountaineer a month ago as I’m sure it was the only thing keeping everyone in my vehicle form getting killed. Had she still been driving her STS, I'd hate to see what the news story may of been.

It’s going to be a tough road ahead for my Wife, Kids and I to get back to a sense of normalcy, but thank God I still have them all around!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
