Explanation for the recent happenings on here.

I feel I owe everyone an explanation for the recent changes on the board and me being so crabby. Ive been getting alot of PMs and emails about certain members posting negative, vulgar, useless info lately. The main person who was most complained about was someone I considered a good friend so I just deleted most of the crap and assumed it would go away. Well, the last 2 days it has only got worse so I asked Mark (u1arunit) to keep an eye out and delete any junk because im extreemly busy at work and don't have the time to baby sit. Today it got way out of hand and I ended up banning him for 7 days to cool things off. Fast forward to when I get home from work, I open up my email and see a notice that my account on here was attempted to be logged into 5 times from another person. In the email it included the IP address of the person so I call Jeff (Burn Tire) and he checks it out and guess who it is. There is no possible good reason that anyone would do this.

Anyways, im sorry if I seemed grumpy. As anyone who knows me, im the most layed back person there is.

Wow, I know the big guy you are talking about and I can't believe all of this has been going on. Im glad you did what you had to do, and I'd imagine that we all understand the decision you had to make and the busy time you are going through.

like i have discussed with many of my friends on here and abroad, the internet in general is burning me out which is why i have been keeping away from all the forums. too many know-it-alls, ignorant idiots passing bad info, blood sucking vendors, punk members, attention whores etc... every site will have its drama but this site has always been cool because it was nothing like the other local forums and mostly drama free...an awesome way to bring everybody together! while i don't have anything personal against anybody on here, it's nice to see changes being made. thanks for the heads up

I generally post up on 1 of 3 boards.

The ONLY reason I post up on this board is because I have been lucky enough to have met and gotten to know a few of the members, all of whom are great people, IMO. And, that is reason enough. It is good to keep in touch when I can, and with my "racing career" winding down a bit, I just don't know when I might get to see 'em in person again.

The way I see it is ya gotta give a little respect ta get a little respect.

No doubt... this is one of only 2 boards I surf anymore, b/c i really got tired of everyones crap... Everyone here has been respectful and helpful in times of need, and i dont even have a FORD!

I'm new to this site, well, kinda new to this city as well, and after meeting Lou at LMM, and him pointing me to this site, I'm hooked. After getting tangled in a bad thread the other night, with I believe to be the persons Lou is talking about, and seeing other posts from the same guys, I am glad Lou stepped in and is keeping this site a clean, fun place to hang when I can't be out hanging in the car! I've met some nice people through this site and want to continue doing so!!!

i missed it all this, but that is also another reason i get on this board is beacuse i know some of you and from talking to you all, i would like to meet you in the future. alot of good people on here and thats why im here. And Lou is probably one of the most laid back guys i know.
