They both make great power but Whipple is more reliable.
I miss my KB but when I get another twin screw it will be a Whipple. If they still made the 2.2 KB then I would consider getting another one.

What is the problem with the KB's as far as reliability is concerned? For a given displacement, do they still make more power, especially down low, than the whipple? Or has the whipple closed that gap?

I vote Whipple too....from what I hear (keep in mind, this is not first person experience), Whipple's customer service is much better than KB's. Plus, the Whipple blowers honestly just look a LOT nicer than the plain, square KB units.

Been here before lol. What boost levels are you looking at? Is the block, heads, cams stock? Either one is a very good product. Had the KB 2.8H on mine and if I was to do another twin screw it would be the 2.8 Mommoth with the Liquid Cooled option. The 3.4 whip is a nice piece but a little big for the street and the 2.8 will out perform the 3.4 untill 22psi and up. Whipple now has the 2.9 out and looks to be a great piece. I dont know how it compairs to the KB 2.8 Mommoth, but i do love the Liquid Cooled option for the KB's
