    Woodward Dream Cruise 2011

Any of you guys planning on going to this? Any past attendees have any advice for a first timer? I gotta goto Grand Rapids for training earlier in the week then head over to the Dirty D Wednesday night and hang with a friend of mine.

Let me know what's up, and if anyone is going shoot me a PM with your number or something and let's try and meet up?!?

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I'll be there, i'm registered for Mustang Alley. Leaving early Fri. morn and be there till Sunday.

It is an awesome event. I went for the first time last year and even thou it rained most of the day on Sat. it was still packed.

As you can imagine traffic is terrible.

Yeah I'm betting I'll want to kill myself with traffic. What's the deal on Mustang Alley?

I will be heading there myself. Leaving Friday morning. Going to the cruise on Saturday and then to the Nascar Race on Sunday.

About the 10th year for me, I attend Mustang Alley every year, but dont usually register to park inside of it, but they do take drive ups some times, i just dont like to get trapped inside that area all day, we go to Woodward with about 15 to 20 cars, and like to cruise all over, so we usually park right near the entrance to 10mile rd and mustang alley, and walk around and then move on, and as for traffic, the roads are easy to figure out, ive learned many shortcuts to other ways around or to the highway to get back to the hotel, in case traffic gets too nuts, and it will....have fun thou, it should be a blast for you, as i said we go every year , the hotel we stay at is strictly cruisers, and the party goes all night, burnouts thru parking lot and all...

Which hotel do you stay at? I usully stay at the Motel 6 in Southgate.

I'm also assuming there are a shit load of vendors there? I wanna get a new pair of headlights, but thinking of waiting til I go up there...

We usually stay @ The Drury Inn on Big Beaver rd in Troy, nice hotel, safe area, free food and drink with stay, and the party in the lot is good too, we always book way in advance to make sure we get a room, its a good time no matter what, we've stayed in a shithole on 8 Mile before, in a pinch (year of the east coast blackout) still had a great time on saturday

That's cool. I did sign up on Mustang Alley just so I knew I had a place there, but I would definitely like to cruise more. I'm hoping the hotel situation isn't a disaster but, in a pinch, I can stay at my friend's place on Grosse Ile.

I know it's gonna be a big ass crowd but who knows maybe we will run into each other.

Mustang alley will have tons of vendors there too, Ford Racing will have semis of stuff there, and the overall cruise is 16miles long, tons of vendors there, from anything you could imagine

Julie and I will be the with the 84, parking in Mustang Alley, there are still plenty of hotels in Troy and Southfield, pretty resonable too. Your allowed to go in and out of Mustang Alley just as long as your not parked all the way up front close to Woodward.
