Its here. All cleaned up, probally cleaner than yours. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Slippery Rock sucked saturday. I must have washed and scrubed about 125lbs of mud off my Rap. Took me over 2 hours to shine her up. If you want, I might be going to my plant on Sunday. I'll take it with me and you can play for a bit.

yea but all my friends have quads and i live out in the country. And my family would rather me get a quad. Also anytime i want to go do that i just borrow my cousins bike like i do now. And insurance is an issue with a bike also.
not unless you're planning on financing it... i doubt you're much yougner than me (i just turned 22)... i quit riding my RM250 and got rid of it as a senior in high school, just to save up so i could buy a sportbike... couple years later (@19), i got my TL1000R. I pay $140 a year for insurance.. granted, that's liability only, but still, it does the job.
As far as living out in the country, that makes it even better. I grew up outside of Indiana, PA, out in the middle of nowhere - literally - 17 miles to the nearest store of any type. Country riding on a sportibke is the greatest... no worries about cops... twisty roads, no traffic.. its the best!!
A lot of my friends had quads too, and you will have a major itch to go out riding - i couldnt take it anymore and went and bought the KTM in my sig this summer. I mean, i've never liked quads, always been a dirtbike guy, so i dont know what quads were like 10 years ago, but you could probably get one for cheap, then still go out and buy a sportbike. For example, my parents neighbor back home (if you call it that - he's 4 miels away) races for the Kawi shop in Indiana. KX250, A & B class motocross - alcohol and all... I've ridden his bike twice, and I honestly feel my KTM has more balls than it does... Definitely has a HUGE mid-range advantage, and really doesnt feel much weaker (if any) on top. So a 13 year old bike, that i bought for $250 runs like a friggin champ! Just needed a couple weekends of TLC.

if you just use your money wisely, you might be surprised what you can afford, especially if you still live at home man! (not sure if you do or not)
I mean, i just turned 22. As a graduation present for being Valedictorean and getting a full-ride to school, my rents bought my '94 T/A for me. Since that day, they haven't handed me a penny. Everything else I have, i paid for myself - while being in school, and paying for one of those expensive thigns called a girlfriend. Just takes a lot of discipline...
Guess it all depends on what you really want

not my chick. she hates them because of all the bad things people say about them. Yea i still live at home but im going to school full-time and then only working 4hours a day on minimum wage and i still have some money left on my mustang and yea i still live at home but im paying half for my school and such and im only 19 but have soem speeding tickets that i regret. And i still live at home and i would have to move out if i got one said my dad because i only got a 3.2gpa this quarter. The reason he was ok was because i was getting a 3.6 and said if it dropped below a 3.5 no bike. So thats why im lookin at quads now
yea i am sorta rushing two things. i have to be at work at 4 and im tryin to clean my car and take pics for some people then rush out and clean it up some more. lol wow i did say that alot tho LOL
haha, i was thinkin the same thing... thought maybe i was getting confused, and kept accidentally reading the same line over and over again...
Scott, its cool, i understand, just my opinion... getting kicked out b/c you want a bike is a little harsh... as long as you can afford it, it doen't affect anyone else. Plus, your chick woudl change her tune. My g/f grew up in a family obsessed with dirtbikes, and still wasnt fond of sportbikes... all it took was a couple rides, and she loves it!! been riding with me on my dad's bike even before i got my sportbike...
good luck w/ whatever you do!
