    Cooling fan died

I was lucky and it started making noise as soon as I turned the AC on in my garage, anyone else have their fan die? What did you replace it with?

This is a pretty popular topic on SVTP with the Terminator fan problems. Pretty sure a lot of guys were getting Ford replacements, but I don't remember off top of my head.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Seems to me it's a common failure with Terminators.

I'm on vacation this week and was going to go on a little road trip... if that would have happened 300 miles frome home I'd probably shot it.

Well day one of my vacation consisted of a trip to Laurel Ford to order a new fan and then I pulled the old one out (fun) and changed the oil. New one will be here either tomorrow or wednesday.

haha... well, mine has been reliable so far, but something is telling me that as far as LONG term expense goes, i'd be wise to trade you straight up! lol...

Mine has been, only thing that broke was an axle (clearly my fault) and the TOB tube and that gave me the opportunity to upgrade to a 26 spline input shaft and a better clutch.

$330, I'm going to pay a lot of attention to the new one... probably buy a new fan blade and motor for the old one and change them out every 25k miles.
There was no warning, if I had been somewhere far from home I would have been ****ed.

My stock fan died at 26.5K I put a Dorman replacemnt fan in it, and think it lasted 2500 miles before it locked up. Bought a Ford fan from Tousley and it now has 40K on it with no issues.
