Don't call it a "Mini Truck"!

I've always hated the "mini truck" designation....makes me think of a foreign ride slammed on the ground with gawdy paint and suicide doors. So please refrain from using that term!

But....here it is!! It's finally almost done...a few little things to button up and the 351W Ranger will be complete!! The color is Vista Blue Metallic. The sides of the hood and lettering on the tailgate is a bench mix of a Toyota Black Mica and a Ford Black Pearl with some Dodge PB5 throw in for blue metal flake.

All I need now are some new hoops and rubber to get rid of the old school wheels. Looking at maybe some Prostars and BFG R T/A's over the winter.

And finally......PLEASE IGNORE THE LICENSE PLATE!!! My wife shot the pics and uploaded them then I saw her little joke. She thoughts it was funny, me--not so much.

I think some silver FR500's would look fantastic with the Vista Blue.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I built the truck about 15yrs ago when I was in college. Couldn't afford to insure a mustang gt so I made my own version! The swap is easy to do and there plenty of room. Mines a little more hardcore than most 302 swap with my suspension mods and exhaust. But I also have a 4wd 302 powered 1988 ranger. Its a kitten compared to the 351W truck.

I got tangled up and away from a computer tonight but I'm going to have time in the AM to post more pics.

BTW......ordered wheels tonight. Got Summit Warrior R/Ts. And as for the old school wheels, somehow over the years I ended up with the 15x7 fronts, two pairs of 15x8s and the 15x10s that I have on the back. My drag radials are on a set of 15x8's.

Here's some engine and underneath shots. Excuse the filthiness...still cleaning sanding dust and general crud from not being on the road for a couple years.
