T5 question...

Been a log time since ive really been near one and last stang trans i replaced was a t45..but anyway just trying to remember...

94/95 gt/cobra t5 trans..needs a rebuild...if i recall can you use a world class rebuild kit? Or do you have to use a non world class style kit? Its like a 100 buck difference for the kit and I think it would be worth it of course. Working on getting back into a stang for a beater and winter project and the cobra i MAY get pops out of 5th gear below 60mph. I know its been beat so i want to have it rebuilt.

The 94-95 Cobra T5 is a world class T5

Edit: I just noticed you said gt/cobra, but my reply still applies. There were slight differences between the cobra and GT T5's internally (cobra has phosphate coated gears, upgraded input/main shaft, and better input shaft bearing) but everything is interchangeable.

Cool i totally forgot the cobra came with a world class t5...im not sure which car im getting just depends on which one sells first and the elft over is what im getting lol.
