I fired myself from SCS over a month ago mainly because I don't own a car right now and I feel like a bottom-feeding, soulless loser, but I've been checking in everyday. Now, I can't even see the board without signing on (apparently someone got in trouble for trolling :p )so I guess I'll chime in.

'Ole Rob 1997GT got my old car and he's modding more and having fun.

Auto Trader and Ebay is junk right now. I can't talk myself into the Calypso Green that Ink got for sale. I'm in the same boat as every other moron in Mustangless land. I'd like a clean low-mileage(50-70K?) 87-93 gt or lx and not pay $12K for it. Or a 99-04, but again it seems like even private sellers are asking high retail prices.

The onslaught of media has ruined shopping for autos. Even ten years ago, you could find the classic "sat in a barn for 20 years" scenario.

Oh well, thanks for the mini-rant. Maybe I can get a hold of something before y'all schedule a dyno day. That was fun last year.

Last year, we had a dyno/tune day at Hybridynamics in Youngwood. If you're coming out of Youngwood on 119S (towards New Stanton) it's on your right side just before 119N/119S merge back together at the Sunoco station.

If Lou's car would've somehow become unstrapped from the rollers, Youngwood would still be considered a National Disaster Area.

I just can't justify the payments. I'll stick with something less expensive, older, cooler, easier to mod, cheaper to drive/insure and have just as much fun. I'm too damn practical, I guess.
