That was a nice show. I even enjoyed smoking the hides in the burnout pit!

Ron, it was really nice to meet/talk to you. Hopefully I will see you at another cruise.

Sean - great to meet you today. And thank you again for the rotors, I really appreciate it. And I really liked your GT - you've really done a tasteful job of upgrading it across the board.

So you rolled her on over to the burnout pit?? I'm glad you weren't the fire my daughter reported to me!!

As I'm typing this, the big fireworks show is going on at Moon Park!!

Take it easy, and I'm sure I'll see you around somewhere. Hopefully I can get a big SCS gang to come to the PVGP for me next July!

Yeah, I did a decent burnout - not like some of the guys that shredded their tires, but it was fun with no fires to report :)

Thanks for the compliments. I never got over to see your cars. I had every intention to but after I got my girls off the swings and then we ate, it was 6:30 and it seemed like everyone was clearing out.

Hope to see you again though. Are you going to the fall foolage cruise with the Pgh Mustang Club? I went last year (I piggy backed off my parents membership) and it was a great time. I plan to go this year as long as the weather is nice.

Why would he even need the juice to do a burnout. What, the Fireturd can't do a burnout without using the juice?

I'm not a member of GPMC any longer, but am still buddies with a number of the members. I set them up with a great bunch of parking spots every year at the PVGP in Schenley Park. What is the date for the fall foilage cruise? I went to that event maybe 14 years ago - was a covered bridge tour up through Bedford. It was a nice drive, and ended up with a group dinner.

Sucked I couldn't stay that long but just ended up not being my day between running late and getting shit all over my car that I need to now detail again.

Was nice meeting you Ron, that is a badass 66 that you have, I'm a big fan. It sounded good leaving too.

Saw the pigblockelcamino and Cheeks Camaro, but neither of their respective owners.

My son did the burn out pit in his 04 GT. He lit up his blue flashing firemen's lights while he was smokin em. Did a nice 1-2 shift also. He is 40thGT on the board here.

Thanks Dan! I have so many things that need some work on my '66, but like I was saying, I just haven't had much time for quite a while. Hopefully this winter I'll make some serious headway ( but I've been saying that for several years now... ) I had to take it super easy going home, because after I started it up, I looked down and my gas gauge was BELOW E!! I honestly didn't think I'd make it to the gas station... And when I got there, guess what...NO 93!! So I put 3 gallons of 87 in her and went straight home. Next time out I'll have to top her off with the good stuff.

It was really nice meeting you and talking for a bit. I absolutely love that DSG Cobra of yours! Take care, and hopefully I'll see you around.
