    Fix to my neighbors Impala

So about a month ago he hit a deer..had a bodyshop fix it and they said they would detail it for him. So this is the "detail" they provided to him

So I finally got around to doing it this weekend and fixing their hack job

Its amazing that some places would let things out like that and call it detailed. Just goes to show you there is NO cheap detailers out there. Get what you pay for.

Wow - nice work Vader - looks great! I know you have a ton of products - what did you use on the car?
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

I used my Griots garage DA, Meguiars Microfiber Finishing disc with menzerna Power finish. I then topped it off with Black Fire wet Diamond

    from start to finish
Washed wheels with Sonax Full Effect
Washed the car with Chemical Guys Citrus wash and clear
The wiped the car down with Griots paint Prep to help remove any old wax build up.
Went over the car with Iron X to help dissolve any excess iron in the paint
Clayed it with mothers clay and ONR as my clay lube
    Then buffed
then washed it again to remove any dust and polishing oils left behind with a higher concentrate of Citrus wash
    then sealed with Black fire.

total time it took me was about 11hrs

Your neighbors should take it to the first "detailer" and show them what a professional job looks like.

yea i told him to do that.

I like the blackfire alot..its easy to go on and wipes off almost like its not even there..plus it leaves the car real wet looking. From everywhere I read protection last about 3months with it.

to me the most impressive part is I was able to get this result with a 1 step buff. He didnt want 100% correction he just wanted it fixed and looking good. I was shocked myself as to how well it finished out on black. There is def still scratches left in the paint that only would be fixed by doing a compound first then a polish..but they are MUCH MUCH harder to see now and even in the sun you have to look for them and they dont just jump out at you. I love the Meguiars Microfiber correction system.

I have a cheap 6.5" orbital hand buffer and Im in the market for another one. I need one that the head is removable or changeable. the foam head on mine that is glued on there under the bonnet keeps coming unglued. It did its job for 20 bucks but its time to upgrade. Also, where do you buy all your products?

Looks really great! What did you use on the tires for dressing?

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
