In case anyone missed it or wasn't there on saterday. Pete Ignatovic in his Camaro broke the right rear axle causing tire to come off. Which turned the car and it managed to go over the guard rail.
No one hurt but this could have been ugly.
Can see hardly any damage to steel rails. Just minor dents on top where car went over. Did twist one post and tweak another. Impact with ground(nose took big chunk out of grass) probably saved this from being bad.

Had a similar event happen to me many years ago, where the rear trailing arm on my Hurst Olds snapped when I slammed into 3rd gear, sending the left rear wheel into the trunk, snapping the e-brake and hydraulic lines, drive shaft come out of the trans and pinball between the floor boards and asphalt, resulting in the car going completely out of control. That is why I cruise like old man now. My "go fast" days are far behind me.
