Has anyone tried doing this and do they actually work? Searching the web I get mixed reviews with it...my cel is driving me crazy on my 04 Vic, but don't feel like blowing 60$ if I can spend 6 with the same results.

Amazingly I found my post on the Mach 1 registry. Here you go:
Compnents are:
pcb board
1/2 watt 1 mega ohm resistor
1 microfarad capacitor
quick connects
gutted non-working mils
They've been working for over a week now.
I'll be sure to post if they quit working.

Guess what the contents of off-the-shelf MILs are?
You guessed it: 1 capacitor and 1 resistor!
I bought a set used from a guy on one of the forums and they didn't work.
I then gutted the non-working MILs and made my own.
Cost was around $7, and I have 3 more resistors and 1 pcb board left over.
