We dont need a heads up on this. All you need to do is drive 1 mile from your house, or any house for that matter. I just came back from Tim Rodeheaver's. On 79 both ways I must have seen about 15 staties sitting. Not to mention the ones pulled over and the locals. Its terrible. Scared to even drive anymore. You have a bad bulb and your getting a ticket. I have had a perfect driving record for along time now and plan to keep it that way.

i heard about this grant... cops will be enforcing this to the max so stated on the radio... i've seen a bunch of cops on 119 pullin over people like crazy..

I saw some sort of check point on 65 on the way home from work today. Not sure what they were looking for, but I was glad I was in the far lane from where the guy was standing cause I probably would have gotten something for tint, no inspection stickers, off road exhaust, etc.

Hmm, didn't know tint was ok now. But yeah it hasn't been inspected since September. I kinda want to see just how long I can go without getting a ticket for it.

From my understanding, as dark as you want. BUT they can pull you over if they feel its too dark. Like 5%, way too dark. My cousin has a Tahoe. He has 25% all the way around even over the stock rear tint. I mean all the way around. The windshield. It looks sick as hell. He has never had a problem with it. All of our cars are tinted. My stang and her Fusion. 25 on both.

the inspection station can not fail you for tint,but you can still get pulled over and fined (by cops) for it... just depends on the cop & his additude
i got 5% all round... had no isues yet.. if your driven like an idiot then you are just askin for it

WINDSHIELD: 3 inches from top, or as-1 line. whichever is higher.
ALL other windows: can be painted black (sarcasm) for state inspection. As an inspector we are told not to care about this. It is now for the Staties to deal with, and they are suppose to have a light meter in their car. 30% is the legal limit.

i did inspections for awhile too... yea you can put 70% tint on (which is what you got from factory (pretty much clear,no tint)... i look at items for a car as hech with it, it's not legal. but everything is illegal now-a-days. u know.. i tinted windows on the side for bout 10 yrs. and everyone would always ask me the same question.. WHATS LEGAL.. i'd say nothing.. just dont give the cops a reason to pull you over..
