“We wanted to sit down with them and ask why it was canceled and find a quick resolution, but they didn’t want to talk about it. They just said, ‘We don’t want the airplanes, have a nice life,’ ” Gourley said. “I had to let go of my staff–60 people and their families were devastated,” Gourley said. “It’s really been tragic.”

Reading the article I see the Federal Government canceled the contract for the airplanes. As I read your post I thought Perry had something to do with this, but it seems the decision was handed down from the folks in D.C. who tell us they are trying to create jobs and save the environment.

Strange approach to those two goals....

I remember when Rick Perry pulled the 6-6-6 ball. That was crazy!!

I had heard something about this on the radio today. It's all BS. I think Perry should find some money if possible and atleast pay for fuel, man hours and unexpected maint problems. Give the Feds a big old FU.
