Talking My 1995 GT project - Teal Resurrection!!

So on August 2nd, I purchased a 1995 mustang GT.
It had sat abandoned by the original owner for 6 years.
It had not been started, moved, or cleaned.

After winching it onto my trailer, I towed it home to see what my "blank canvas" would inspire for ideas.

After 4 weeks, I can now tell you all that I have done to it!

    1. New suspension (lowering springs and control arms)
    2. New exhaust (MAC shorty headers, off road h-pipe, and 2.5" catback)
    3. 03 Cobra seats and door panels with switches.
    4. New radio (satellite, CD, USB, Ipod connection) and 10" subwoofer
    5. New floor mats
    6. New pedal covers
    7. Steeda tri-ax shifter
    8. Tinted windows (35% sides and 20% rear)
    9. Saleen S281 wing
    10. Saleen 18-9 and 18-10 chrome wheels
    11. Cross-drilled/slotted rotors, ceramic pads, painted calipers
    12. Smoked headlights
    13. New water pump, thermostat, hoses, and vacuum lines.
    14. New spark plugs, cap, rotor, set timing @ 14* and reset fuel pressure.
    15. Painted valve covers.
    16. Recharged and fixed air-conditioning
    17. Cleaned outside of intake, cold air kit, t/b.

Got car running and passed local state inspection!
Drives good and had ice-cold air now!
    Just needs paint!

    Ryan

Looks awesome! I bet a good buffing would really bring the paint back to life until you're ready for a respray!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

You may be right. Unfortunately the top of the roof, hood, and trunk have white coming thru what is not left of the paint/clear coat.
I may have someone local compound and buff it to see if it is any better, but ultimately it needs a fresh coat of paint to be right.

    Thanks guys!

One more pic beside the Shelby.
My saleen is under the car cover waiting on its automatic trans conversion to start.

It was either white (color of wing when I bought it) or rattle-can black for the time being. When the car gets painted, so will the wing to match.

It's low enough now with the Steeda springs. Any lower and I'll drag the exhaust over speed bumps. I was considering a 2.5" cowl cobra r hood, but think I'm going to just leave the stock stuff on it.

On the car when I got it =
    Edelbrock Performer 5.0 intake
    BBK 70mm throttle body
    SVO adapter to intake
    BBK cold air kit
MSD distributor, 6AL box, and blaster coil with 8mm wires
    3.73 gears
Crane cams 1.7 bolt down roller rockers

    I've since added -
    MAC shorty headers (1-5/8 inch)
MAC 2.5" cat back with 3 inch tips

It sounds pretty good and has decent power for what it is.

Call me JADED, but after having turbo and supercharged cars over the years, this thing is S L O W. LOL!
