    svo clutch replacement

    i started my clutch replacement today, the stocker gave up 2 weeks ago :( i got car up in the air and pulled trans today , the car is getting a spec 3+ " thanks to bob " i hope to get clutch out and new one in tomorrow .

    just got in from garage, it had to be the pressure plate ,the disc looks fine...? the throw out bearing was running out of true too ?

    is the stock clutch a luk? and you can hear that i was clearly above idle on that pass lol

    Well, most everything is build on a Luk core or parts, so finding it on anything is likely. There are only like two companies that make the basic parts for clutches, everone assmebles as they see fit with those parts (and Luk) is by far the biggest) ... I see a lot of times, someone will but a performance clutch from someone then complain it's only a Luk rebranded ;)

    The pressure plate I took out is alot shorter than the spec going in?

    The spec is deffinately a higher stack ...

    That all goes back to my problems with adjustment earlier this year when I changed ... None the less, I've run the spec with the stock bell set-up without issue.

    found problem with clutch , it was the pressure plate the rivets pulled out of the straps

    well an update , it has taken way to long, but the trans is back in and the car in on the ground and off the jack stands , all i have left to do is the shifter and console and take it for its break in drive lol
