Same here.......have not ran the Ranger in several years. Hoping the new paint is worth at least a second or two. ;)

Planning on running too. Droolin' over the forecast!

There is a gamblers race tomorrow night, and it is 1/8th mile, since the Silver Mine $10k's this weekend are 1/8th mile. The test and tune runs will be 1/4 mile, I'm told.

As long as the rain either stops early enough or passes us completely, I'll be there.

They will get the track dry and ready if the rain stops soon enough. I am not sure that is going to happen today however. The radar doesn't look "that" bad, and as soon as the rain that is on there gets out of here it looks clear. I would guess they will update by mid-afternoon, as to whether or not there is too much water (which could be an issue even "if" the rain stops).

I've seen it rain up to 2 hours before the track was supposed to open and they were able to get it clear and ready.

Msn weather shows 0% chance of rain by 3. Should be fine, and the cool air will make for some happy racers

Sun shining through and calmer winds. Still looks like rain could bust out at any second though.
