Got my car weighed today. Race weight would be 3760 lbs. with myself weighing 190 lbs and 18x10 american racing oe looking wheels with 305/45/18 mt et street radials. So without me it weighs 3570.
FYI, redb5.0 weighed his 2012 gt premium with brembos, 17x10.5 fr500's with 26" et streets on the rear. Without him in the car it weighed 3560.
So there is not a huge weight advantage to the base gt. Both cars are manual.
Wow! My 73 turbo pinto tips in at 2360.

That's still heavy, but not as bad as I thought and not as bad as another muscle car that I know of *cough* challenger *cough*

Map351, I know what your saying. My fox body weighed 3190 with me in it and full tank of gas.
O I forgot, both cars had half tank of gas.
