Whats the most P.I.T.A. car you have worked on?

Just wondering what everyones answer will be. Ive had to work on some real PITA cars before...one of the worst prolly just cuz of the sheer tiny room to fit myself in was a late 80's jas xjs vert. Such a huge car for being a 2dr but the interior ir cramped as hell and i had to take half of the interior apart.

Buddy of mine is doing a clutch in a John Works edition mini cooper S...12 hours to R&R the clutch lol. So what ya got guys?

I am not a tech nor do I work on cars much, but my girlfriend's Hyundai Tiburon has given me the most grief. Seems like nothing is easy to replace on that car.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

The plugs in a '96ish are no joke.

I used to work at a hyundai dealer lol...yeah they can be a pain. Sometimes comical...we needed a full srs equipped seat once for a tib...the tech line told us to go to a bmw dealer and get one for a m3 cuz they were they same frame and setup just use our old cushoins and leather covers lol. The OEM tib seats were on like a 6 month backorder.

Yep. I was changing the oil in my wife's Ford Edge, which was very easy, and wondered, "How the hell am I going to get to the rear spark plugs when they need changed?" Hopefully they will last until trade in time.

firewall-side spark plugs on 03 taurus suck to get at.

swapping an engine in an 02 explorer sucks the big nuts. motor mounts are shitty design and hard to line up. numerous other stuff is hard to reach.

I honestly believe that a fox mustang is the absolute easiest car to work on in the history of automobiles. I have yet to work on a car that is easier (not that I've worked one many different cars because I havent...just saying...)

We get old Jags at work. PITA all of them. I hate them. We do alot of Audi timing belts and water pumps. They are time consuming, but not too bad to do. Rusty brake and fuel lines pretty much suck on most cars. I think my all time worst was a 2 year old (at the time) Eldorado hit in the front so hard the valve cover was under the dash. I was a mechanic at a body shop at the time. I had to remove the entire suspension and drivetrain, the dash, the heater assembly, interior, fix everything that was broken, repair a ton of wiring, and put it all back together 2 months later when all the body work was finally done. I also put a frame under a T10 blazer. That job went better than I expected. Speaking of T10 Blazers the motor mounts on those are no fun either.

Easiest car I ever worked on was my 82 BMW 320 while I was in Germany, it was so easy a caveman could do it. Hardest is my Cobra.

At work the most ignorant POS's that ever floated on a boat to US shores were made by Komat'su... I'd be in favor of another bombing of Japan if I could...

I had a 1992 Dodge Shadow 3.0 V6. In order to drop the transmission I had to drain the coolant because the geniuses who designed it ran a hard coolant line across the transmission.
They had enough room to move it up 1" but nooo....
Also getting the dang transmission splines lined back up was terrible because it had 1 large notch in the shaft that had to be lined up perfectly - blindly!

1994 Eagle Talon TSi AWD. I had to work on that turd every other week. Every little thing was a weekend project.

Should've changed their slogan from, "Wake up and drive." to "Wake up and work on your car."

For some reason me and a tech were talking about this earlier today, saying how they were a pain in the ass and always break. funny you say that.

I've not worked on too many, but one I've worked on the most was this turd blazer of mine. Can't wait to junk it at the end of the month!
