    1962 Merc Meteor on CL - super solid!

    This would be a great project for someone - super solid from Arizona and the price is right.

    I looked at this car last Saturday. While it is not rust free all the important parts are in nice shape.
    I still may pop on it, I'm internally conflicted right now.....

    Map - what the heck is it doing out there in the weeds?? What kind of shape is she in? What are your plans for it?

    Did you buy it after the Boss came out? I bet that was a really fun car with that drivetrain...

    Long story, I don't own the car maybe I do? Anyways I back halfed a 67 GTX for a guy and he told me he owned a 62 Merc that was Boss powered, the car was at a body shop getting painted he sold the Boss /w trans and wanted just to put a 289/C-4 for his wife.

    The car arrives at my place I had a nice 289/C4 I sold him to install in the car, the engine bay needed painted and installed that's when the problems started. The Body shop put the wrong trans tunnel in the car and the trans won't fit in the tunnel, the tunnel needed raised about 4" he went after the shop to get them to fix the car it ended up in court the body shop won he owes me money I have the car and it's been sitting here since 1996 rotting away.
