    Concealed carry guns

I carry a Glock 27 now and love its size, accuracy, power, etc but it can feel heavy and uncomfortable when Im carrying it around for a while. Ive been kicking around the idea of buying a pocket pistol like a ruger .380 or something along those lines. Ive never shot one but like the idea of much less weight. Im looking for peoples opinions on pocket pistols' perfomance. Or opinions on other good concealed carry guns.

I have a Glock 33 and just bought a S&W bodyguard .380 because the 33 with a laser was too big for in your pocket. here are a few pictures...

Iv been taking a look at the springfield XDM sub compact, you can get the 19 + 1 mag if you choose to. Its deff not a pocket pistol, but could be a nice conceal. My brother uses the CZ P07 Duty as his daily conceal and loves it. The CZ P01 would be another option also. Too many good guns available to choose!

I have never been a fan of pocket pistols, with a good holster you can carry most anything comfortably. If I was to carry a pocket pistol it would be a bobbed hammered revolver.

Is it pretty accurate for having a short barrel/compact frame?

Ruger LCP with a crimson trace laser guard FTW!! and yes they are pretty accurate..The LCP has smoother, more rounded off edges which if your carrying it in your pocket, it can be easily pulled out without getting snagged on anything.

I carry a glock 27 as well but I have it upgraded to a 357sig pretty sick round if you ask me. And I only carry 1 in chamber an 5 in clip so it stays light. I don't think I will ever need more than that anyways.

I have XD 40 4" and a 1911 w/rail 5" that I carry in winter..but I also bought this little gun in the spring its a DiamondBack DB380..it is tiny little guy and for the length of the barrel it shoots pretty accurate at around 30feet.

I have a Glock 29 and I know what you mean about it feeling heavy at times.

I have two other guns that I often carry. I have a Kel-Tec P3AT which fits nicely in my pocket. Not the most accurate but like any of those "tiny" 380 Auto pistols itll do the job at 5 or 10 feet.

My favorite carry gun is my Smith & Wesson model 342 38 Special. With the titanium frame and cylinder its so light and easily concealable. Good bit more punch than a 380 Auto as well.

You may want to consider on of the S&W Bodyguard revolvers. Same size and built in Laser. My dad has one and he loves it.

The Ruger LCR is also a nice piece and if you really want some punch you can get that in 357 Magnum.

I know it's not cool to say you own a Taurus but I must say that I own one....only one!! It's the ultralight .38. Not a bad little gun. Not as refined as the comparable Ruger but dead accurate easy to carry. I've carried Kimbers, Colts, and Rugers but this Taurus is the one that usually gets grabbed when I leave.

I know this isn't a concealed weapon but check this out the guys a bit of a card but is nice piece regardless.

    No worries.

Regarding the .500 S&W....I've shot about everyone that's made. I even own a H&R .500 rifle. By far the MOST miserable was the BFR single action, non-ported. It was flat out friggin horrible. Every shot after the second was about like...... ......but I kept going b/c there were about a dozen dudes watching!

As stated before, with the right holster, you can carry anything comfortably. Look into a CrossBreed Holster for your Glock.

I have one any carry either my 27 or 29 all the time and you don't even notice you have it. My Kel-Tec P3AT can usually be found in my pocket as well.

I also agree the right holster means everything. I spent 100 on this one and love it. Its a bianchi model 82 and also has the safety release button so it would be difficult to take off some buddy in a struggle
