    My new Baby..

OK well I sold the Mustang, I think even my mustang friends thought that was a good move..

A friend of mine made me one hell of a deal on a Formula so I had to jump on it..

Its a 2000 Firebird Formula NHRA edition. LS1/M6 I have not really gotten any interior photos as of yet but this car is about as clean as i have ever seen a fbody..

    Here are some pics..

It had a few mods, I did a few more.. Here is the run down so far..

6 speed with Hurst "short stick"
    no traction control option
    WS9 hood
    functional WS6 ram air box
    SLP Bellow
    Granatelli Lid
    Granatelli Maf
    Ported and Polished Throttle body
    EGR/A.I.R Delete
    MSD wires
    NGK TR55's
    SLP long tube headers
2.5" True duals with Dynomax bullets dumped
    Power steering cooler (nhra option)
    Vogtland springs
    Kyb AGX shocks
UMI On Car adjustable Panhard Bar
All the lights have been smoked with trans black mixed in clear coat(fogs, driving, tail lights)
    17x9,17x11 ZR1's
    Nitto 275/40/17 NT555's upfront
    Nitto 315/35/17 NT555's Rear
295/45/17 MT ET street II's rear

I am done messing with it for now, this coming spring I am installing a Texas speed 228r 228/228 .588"/.588", comp beehive springs and a LS6 intake. Other than that I am going to keep working in the suspension a mix of UMI and Strano parts. I have a lot more fun in the back roads than the drag strip so thats my focus for the upgrades.

Can't see the pics from work, but sounds pretty decent...

Although, have you had a LSx car before?? If not, i wouldnt' settle for that small cam.... that's a decent shelf cam for a turbo or blower application, but you'll be wishing you had gone bigger if that's what you get.... the torquer v.X cams (X being wahtever number they're up to) are good cams... if i recall correctly, they were always in the mid-high 230's.... but i might wrong.... Either way, i had a 232/230 before i put turbos on my TA, and it was nice, but i was wishing i had a larger cam... somethign in the mid 230's with over 600 left will be awesome, even as a car driven a lot...

Once you get deep into teh 240's with the MS cams and the Trex cams, that's when they start getting to the point where they may not be super street-worthy...

Jeff at first try uses the Polluter cam and he's said he really likes it as well...

Nice this car is almost identical to mine other than I have an Automatic. Mine is also a Pewter 2000 Formula Hardtop traction control delete car. You'll love it (until you mangle you hands a few times from the cowl while working on the engine).
