    245/50/16 Tires

I have 4, "geostar" 245/50/16 tires for sale, I had these on my Capri last summer for about 2500 miles, they were a little big for this with that suspension set-up. The tire that was on the passenger side rear has some scuffs on the shoulder from rubbing, One of the pictures shows this. Asking $100.00 OBO.

Any idea if they will fit on stock 16" pony wheels and fit my Fox I am guessing the are about the same as a Capri? I DO not have my wheel lips rolled yet..where did they rub?

    Mike,

I had them mounted on 16 "waffle stars", I think those are 1/2 wider than the ponys, but dont know for sure. They rubbed on the rear fender lips, but I have SVO suspension under this car, so the wheels are out 1 1/2" per side WIDER than a fox. I'm terrible at what fits what because my stuff is so different than most. They were new on these wheels when I got them ,so I gave them a try ;) I just swapped back to 225/50's for daily drivers. Here is a picture of them on the Capri, you can see they really filled out the wheel wells.

From Morgantown take 119 to New Stanton, then through Youngwood, and another 10 miles to Greensburg. Mike has dibs if he is interested.

I've got that size all the way around my 85 on pony's and they fit ok. I don't get any rubbing in the rear, but they do rub on the front at full lock. This may not be a problem on the 91-93's with the slightly larger front fenders. Also may be interested if neither one of those guys want them.

They fit ponys. I had them on mine when I sold them to silvernotch. Perfect size for sure. Looks mean and fits perfect.
