New best or other ET thread

There is a ton of new best threads on here, so I figured I would try to start a thread to post them all in. Post up things done to the car when it goes faster (or slower), weather, etc.
My new best was last night. 1.77 60 foot, 12.72 et, 106 mph. I was dialed a 12.79 and just went way under. The 12.72 caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting the car to go that fast. My previous best was a 12.88. The only change to the car between the 2 runs was taking the off road x-pipe off and putting the factory catted h-pipe back on.

Went to Quaker this past Sat. and got a new best. 12:39 at 113 mph with a 1.8 60ft time. I was very pleased with that. I believe at PRP it would have been a 12:19 cause I know Quaker is 2 tenths slower of a track.

I also have to say me and the people I was there with were not pleased with the way things were run.

Quaker city best time 13.5 @ 104. very pleased for the first time out. but not pleased with only getting two runs in. i think i could of gotten better. took forever to get a run it.

12.1 @ 114 with a 1.85 60' at Quaker City in the '66. That is with 235/15 ET Streets (no room for anything wider under there) and a gentle 2800rpm launch. The T5 can't take much more than that on the sticky tires. Someday I'll get a beefier tranny and be able to whoop on it without worrying about needing towed home.

12.1xx @123 at QCR about 5 years ago. Damn thing blew both headgaskets around the 1000' line. Havent been back since.

You picked up .15 tenths by putting cats on...interesting.
