I ran a carfax... it says 192,000 miles or something like that. He really doesn't disclose the miles on the chassis, but I guess the whole damn thing is pretty much rebuilt anyway. :)

EDIT: Those of you who know a 306 and that Holley set-up with the carb, where would this thing make peak HP and TQ and what do you think it would safely rev to?

... and approx how much hp/tq?

That car was for sell at Cossells in West Alexander about 5 or 6months ago, thats Chuck94's(screen name) friend Dave's car.

Thats pretty much it, I seen it at Cossell's and I seen Dave drive it, and the pictures were taken at his house.

Looks like a pretty nice car. I think that carb is way to big for that motor though.

Yea a 870 is a bit large for a 306, a 650 would have been plenty.

I talked to him yesterday about the car. He told me $8K firm, but he was luke warm when I asked if I could come see it. I know it was pouring down rain and I didn't want to drive it... just look it over??? Said he just kinda put it on fleabay to see what it might bring, but didn't meet reserve. Might put tags and ins back on it and drive it. Not much of a salesman???

I'm not going to beg him to check it out.
