I wondered when they were going to license them like the Fastbacks. Would be nice to build one with a modern drive line.

That's awesome. Glad Dynacorn finally made the '65-6 bodystyle. Powdercoat the inside/underside and she'd be perfect forever! I'd probably mini-tub it and raise the tranny tunnel a bit to squeeze an MT-82 in there. Then a shiny new 5.0 with a Kenne Bell 2.8. Oh - that project would be absolutely SICK!

Doesn't say anything about a title/vin number. Gonna start swapping vin tags? All the nansie pansies on here will be crying over this one. Debate been going on a while after dynacorn started making the Chevelles, etc. $15k for just the shell of a car that costs $2500 complete. I bet you could get a really nice original for $15000 and drive it home.

I was reading more about this and it seems you do not get the hood or front fenders for the $15,000.

I'm pretty sure the hood/fenders/trunk lid all come with it for the $15k. Years back when they first came out with the '67 fastback style I wondered the same thing, as the ads were unclear, but then saw that the bodies do come complete. I'd assume these are the same way.

    Nope. http://www.dynacornclassicbodies.com/ford_models2.html
No front clip. I do understand that it is a totally clean, new body, but $15k for a shell that doesn't have a vin or title? Would it be titled as a kit car?

Here is part of Ford press release.

The '65 body is in production now and can be delivered by freight truck to any address. The '65 Mustang body includes the doors and trunk lid and all the sheet metal from the radiator support to the taillight panel except the hood and front fenders. Those items are available separately. The '65 Mustang body shell starts at $15,000.
