I think thats kinda high considering what it is....
Not exactly what everyone dreams of.
I hear ya John - it isn't everyone's cup of tea. I've always had a soft spot for the Mk VIIs. I've been told that the Lincolns got the best 5.0s which were blueprinted. Not a big advantage, but better than a Mustang 5.0 with the same mileage. Also - the fact that it has never seen bad weather is a plus - probably squeaky clean underneath with little wear and tear. Wouldn't a clean '91 GT with 59k miles be worth $6-$7k easy? This has basically the same performance with a much nicer ride, and the body style still looks good - even nicer than the MK VIII in my opinion.
He's asking $4750. For $4k- $4250 I think it's a cool summer driver that you could put 40k miles on and get most of your money back out of it after a few years if you keep it clean.

If that car was a LSC versus a BB, I would have at least gone to look at it ... I guess I'm the right buyer (if it was truely as advertised and as clean as it should of been) ... I miss my 88 Turbo Coupe as a driver, a Mark VII or Mark VIII would fill that need for me now ... I don't like the 89 up T-birds, so it's mostly down to the Mark's.
At least on the Mark VIIIs, the only difference between a standard Mark and a LSC was 10 hp. That was attributed to the LSC had a true dual exhaust. Both cars would have been way faster if it had lost some weight. My VIII had sound deadening material on top of the wheelwells IN the fenders. Gears, stick and weight loss would make those cars fly.
