Smile Considering selling my original '65 fastback?

Hi. I'd like of a couple of opinions on selling or not selling my car now. I've had it for several years and it might be time to cut her loose. Is the market good for and all original 1965 fastback? The only changes which are reversible are an am/fm casette radio (I have the original), dual exhaust (why change it to a single?), and BF Goodrich radial TA's (I have the whitewalls). Everything else is orignal with matching numbers. Only 55,000 miles and always garaged for 45 years. Should I try and sell her now for around $26,000 or would waiting another year hurt my chances?
Thanks for your help and input!!!!

From what I've seen, the collector market is still a bit soft. Be prepared to be patient - it might take a while to sell for the money you're looking for. That being said, I don't see next year being much different than right now, so if you want to sell it you might as well start trying now.

Your car is very original and easily put back to completely stock, and I would keep it the way it is now - nearly stock and more driveable/enjoyable as it sits and try to sell it that way. If the buyer wants to take it back to completely stock I'd let him do it - there are more people who'd rather have it with the current "mods."

    Good luck!

If you want to sell the car now, why wait for a year from now?

A quick net search showed that 26k seems like a reasonable price for your car.

    It only takes 1 buyer....

+1 I agree with everything that has been said above. If your looking to sell why not start now.
