Not only did I fail at building a fast mustang but I bought a yellow zo6 cause I couldn't get my little dick up.
I've read varied answers from a year to many years. The octane drops over a certain period of time but keeping it sealed in the drum helps extend it's shelf life. If you were running 110 or 112 octane safely, then this would be fine. If detonation was only avoided at 116, then it may be too old for that application.
