WTB: 99-04 GT 5 Speed Coupe

well...my car currently looks like this...

Most likely totaled, and if it is I'm looking for a 99-04 GT.
MUST BE 5 SPEED. NO VERTS. preferably 01+. looking for under 80K miles, lower the better. Probably be looking at spending around 10k.

Will also consider a 94-98 5.0 if the price is right and car is clean.

Geez - sorry to hear about this. I was just admiring the photo of your car the other day. I guess you weren't hurt. I hope things work out and you end up back in the saddle soon.

Maybe pick up a winter beater and take your time searching? It is always tough to find that perfect clean car and then have to drive it in the winter.

X2. Also maybe you could save up some more cash over the winter and pick up a 99 or 01 cobra. They are out there for not much more than you are looking to spend.

Even if they do total the car, you can buy it back - probably very cheap - and part it out. I bought back my super clean '95 SHO for about $200. Your car will be worth more in scrap than what you'll have to pay for it. Only thing is you'll need a place to keep the car while you're parting it. Maybe some guys on here would be interested in some of the parts - you make some $$ and some guys here get a good deal on parts.

Like this 01' in Ohio for $13.5 if you bring your own wheels and tires. Looks clean and only has 40k miles on it.

Man that one is sweet Steve!! Those CCWs are the sexiest rims out there on these cars.

Slowsix - you could also find a really nice '94-5 Cobra - they are a big upgrade from the fox bodies ( as much as I love the foxes ), but for some reason they don't pull the big money. Many of them are out there, tastefully modded, for a very reasonable price. Take your time and look around. I bet there are a few beaters available around here that can get you through the winter(s).

CCWs are definitely sweet, but I am tired of seeing them on every 03/04 Cobra or Cobra clone.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I have a friends garage we could keep the car for a bit and strip everything off of. I was planning on buying it back if its totaled
