That's really impressive. Amazing how those new autos run!

How much power can the stock autos take? If you put on a Kenne Bell and put 600+ to the wheels on an MT-82 you pretty much need to upgrade to a twin-disc clutch setup which runs another $1000+. Do the auto cars need a converter or any other upgrades at those power levels?

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

Yea, I guess riding a bicycle takes some skill. And you can even haul it in your MINI truck!!

I was putting a 150 shot through my stock clutch MT82, granted it was slipping up top :(

Thanks Joe. From that thread it is hard to tell if the guy is running a stock converter. Beefcake seems to think the converter isn't stock. Still, that's impressive that the A6 can take that much power even for a short time.

I'm also with Terry on that one. Not sure that convertor could be stock.
