I can tell you mine made 437rwhp (which is about 500 at the engine) with the Boss intake, but its a terrible mod. No real usable power band with it.

So that's about 500 at the flywheel, assuming 15% loss thru the driveline...pretty darn impressive. Your car rips bud!!
I've heard some say as you have that they didn't get the gains they expected with the Boss intake, while others have had nice gains with little or no loss of low-end pull. As time goes on I'm sure the exact combo of mods that work best with this intake will become clear.

They figured out how to make the boss intake worth while. It requires an actual tune, not through the mail, as the tuner needs to really calibrate the intake cam timing to be dead on, or else the car falls on its face at low rpm.
Livernois went overboard and put 12:1 CR pistons in their GT with the boss intake.
Another guy who posts on most of the boards (name is WBT) has had great success running aftermarket shorty headers to scavenge the power up top which is where the Boss shines.
I had the Boss with 3.73, and didnt feel much losses down low. Lot of guys feel 3.90s is the sweet spot with that intake.
Thanks for the compliment. I'll sell you mine, its been done tastefully :D
