    Bad Vibration

Would a bent axle make my shifter vibrate super bad? Its not the drive shaft and gets worse with high speed.

Thats the same problem I am having with mine. High speed. I put the 3.73's in. I was cruising at about 120-130 which is actually about 90 or so. Thats when it was really noticible. It was a very bad very fast vibration kinda like a tatoo gun type. Kinda hard to explain.

Yea, I am used to my Galaxies/Fairlanes that when a 9" rear axle bends, it just shakes the rear of the car....usaly doent make it up to the shifter.

How do you know its not the driveline?
What year car? I would check ALL the rear control arm bushings VERY good 1st.. They go bad, and let the rear turn enough to throw the driveshaft universal joint angles off JUST enough to make vibrations.. Does it do it all the time or only when on or off the throttle??

You may have hit the nail on the head. The bushings are bad.

I bet thats it then.. If you are running at a speed when it vibrates and you get on and off the throttle, does the vibe change? If so, I bet thats your baby... Seen it MANY times on fox's

Its the simple things that I over look sometimes. I owe you a beer because I am 100% sure that is the issue.
