Talking TTSaleen back on the dyno!!

    1. New exhaust setup from downpipes to axles including new magnaflow mufflers. These things are MUCH quieter than my dynomax (or RUSTomax as they are now known).

    2. Check tune on dyno. Some very slight changes on the driveability but no changes on the wide open throttle tuning needed!

Car lost 70rwhp at the same boost level on 93 octane. Prior numbers with the manual were 965rwhp and now it makes 895rwhp.
Only 18 pounds of boost on the peak but averaged 16 pounds throughout the run.
No high boost runs or race gas as currently it just isn't necessary.
Only after I master my skills with the pump gas setting will we try to turn it up......at least we might.

I need to adjust my boost controller now and then install a rollcage.
Car TWISTS up BAD both on the dyno and the street! The new found power application (auto) is really putting the power to the ground now!

As soon as it's track SAFE, look for it at a 1/4 mile near you! LOL!!

    Yep.
    Typical 60 foots of 2.2 to 2.4.
Would either bog or spin each time.
Only started to recover in 3rd gear and charged hard to finish line.
Ran low 11's at 148mph on my pump gas tune.

Now that the car won't have a bogging problem, I just need to work on the suspension, roll cage, etc and get all this power to the ground.

My goal is 9 seconds in the 1/4 on pump gas and 18" radials.

If you were trapping at 148mph before, getting well into the 9's should not be a problem.

If your 60' is 2.2 - 2.4, could you try launching in 2nd gear at a lower rpm? It would keep the boost from building up too early and you wouldn't blow off the tires until you're about ready for 3rd gear?? Just a thought.

Launching in 2nd gear it would just bog even worse and take much longer to spool. 2 step and good ass tires should get much better than a 2.2 60'.
