There is a thread on another local forum about this (local road race type forum, not sure about the rules regarding cross forum posts). They were not very happy with the experience, and eventually got his money back. Of course this is coming from someone who is a bit more jaded than the normal automotive enthusiast.

I debated on whether I was going to do it but couldnt decide before the dead line. The price seemed great but I was worried about if I caused damage to the car which they state you are responsible for. They do have insurance for $60 but it has a $1500 deductible so basically if you wreck it, it will cost you $1560. Thats why I decided to pass because if I cant drive it hard enough because Im worried about wrecking its not worth it to me.

Well I had my experience today. It was pretty fricking awesome! Track time is actually based off your groups time, so slower cars give you group more time. My session was 15 laps, but I got 20 in. I'd recommend this to someone for sure.

I ran 20 in the car by myself and 10 with the instructor driving. It was kind of a special deal since I was there as a guest of Petty Enterprises. I think the normal is 7 laps.

I have one for Poconos. It was from my ex wife. I'm not really into NASCAR and don't find much interest in it. She paid some ching for it too. If somebody here wants it, let me know. Cheap.

I bought a "ride along" for me and my dad for Father's Day and we went on Saturday. It totally caught him off guard so it was a neat surprise as he is the hardest person ever to buy a gift for. Most impressive thing was how the car just sticks in the corners.

Greg - Yeah, I believe Laskey is still running it. I heard the numbers are really down though in the late model division. I know a couple of weeks ago they only had like 9 entries or something.
