    Handguns Redux

Just thought I'd start a general information thread in case you see something that is cool, new or interesting in firearms- particularly pistols.

Being a Ruger fan I just got this information about their LCR now being chambered in 22LR for economical practice:

Ruger is pleased to announce the new Ruger® LCR-22, an eight-shot revolver that offers all the features of the award-winning LCR®, chambered in the popular and economical .22 Long Rifle cartridge.

"The LCR has proven its worth since its introduction in 2009, and has become an extremely popular compact revolver for concealed carry," said Chris Killoy, Ruger Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Our customers asked for a rimfire LCR for low cost practice at the range, and the LCR-22 fills that need."
Got something you found interesting in the pistol world? post it here!

Ruger is proud to announce the new Ruger® SR22™ pistol, the do-it-all .22 pistol for the shooter who appreciates style and demands reliability. The SR22 is a rugged, scaled-down version of a full-sized pistol, perfect for plinking, target shooting and small game hunting. The lightweight SR22 has modern styling and is fun to shoot while using inexpensive rimfire ammunition.

The 3-dot sight system has a fixed front sight and a rear sight that is adjustable for both windage and elevation. A reversible blade allows shooters to select two white dots or a solid black blade.

Picked up a LC9 a few months ago for a carry gun after checking out many offerings. Really like it, think it fits the hand really well for a compact

I forgot about that one as their model 22's are the only ones in my price range. That pistol is a beauty though. Shame its $1139 MSRP :(

Once you shoot one, you'll own one! Getting past the price tag is the hard part for sure!
