Gearhead...that is a cool wagon - you could rock it to cruises...take it to swap meets...buy a ton of stuff and throw it in back for the ride home...

I like the Galaxie a little more though - those Halibrand style rims really set it off... John may be right - it is at $11,100 and hasn't hit the reserve yet...

That thing is bad for sure!

I always wanted to build a 64 Impala, but how cool to do a 64 Impala wagon the same way

I love old wagons, any wagon over a minivan. I was at Duffy's a little over ten years ago. Probably about the only cool thing in all of Iowa, probably spent about 4-5 hours there.

You guys that think station wagons are cool must be young. Try being 17 years old in 1968 like I was with a Country Squire for the family car (only car) and see how cool you were. It did have a 390 though.

LOL, I think the opposite, you have to have some "experience" to appreciate a big block wagon ;)

Of course I have this waiting in the wings (a face a mother couldn't love) ...

Something about driving into the track with the slicks tied to the luggage rack ;)

nope - not young - and they're not all cool - just some of them - and a 390 helps!

There's another 64 wagon that was always at the PFCA meet at Nat Trails in the 80s It's a light blue wagon with a 427HR it would yank the wheels for 100'..

I'm liking the A/C & woodgrain... now if we could just get a toploader in it!

Heck, 4.10s and drag radials... maybe I could keep up with my wife's station wagon!

I hear ya Greg - work a Gear Vendors overdrive into that equation and you'd still pull 18 mpg on the highway!!

John - you NEED another project buddy! Heck, you have the room to store it - just find a solid shell and stash it until you're ready!!
