Hk usc .45acp = fun, fun, fun!!

Last week a friend came to visit with some "black" toys that he has collected. We mainly worked with some Sig AR's that would not group......told him the 7" twist needed HEAVY bullets. Guess what....H335 and 77gr SMK's drilled 1/2" groups at 100yds! After those were fixed he brought out a brand new toy he had........a H&K USC. It's a semi-auto .45 ACP rifle. His has the 25rd mag w/ the folding stock.

Now semi's are not my style but, man, was this gun fun!!! We hammered nearly half a case of PMC through that thing w/o a hiccup. It shot very well and could be controlled easily under RAPID fire conditions. Owning one of those could get pricey really quick feeding it.

I like the lines of the USC and to me has a nice "art" quality.

Semis definitely have their place because like you said (and you hit the nail on the head on this) they're fun. There's never a time at the range where I don't have at least one 10 round "how fast can I empty this with accuracy?" session. Of course being rimfire I can blow 100 rounds at a session without guilt (and like you pointed out that might be possible with .45 ACP).
